Who Should Attend

This course is designed for the day to day user of the GoldMine Software - Sales, Marketing and Customer Service users.  It assumes you are a beginner with the GoldMine Software. 

In this course, you will learn everything you need to know to have a general working knowledge of GoldMine.  The course will also focus on some of the more advanced features and procedures that make GoldMine such a valuable sales, marketing and customer service tool.

In this instructor lead course, you will be trained on the many features of the GoldMine Software where you use the software to learn hands-on.  Following the discussions are step-by-step procedures. Lessons typically are presented in a logical, task-oriented sequence that more closely replicates business practices. A two set manual is included as take home guide so future reference materials are available to you.

Topics will include:

  • Add, edit and maintain GoldMine Contacts
  • Learn the layout of the GoldMine Work Area
  • Review the set-up and use of Menu Options, Tool Bars and Dialog Boxes
  • Learn the use of Contact List, Contact Record Window, Contact Search Center
  • Learn the use of the Calendar, Schedule Activities, Recurring Activities
  • Learn the use of the Opportunity Manager and Knowledge Base
  • Learn how to Schedule a Phone Call, an Appointment, Next Action and a Forecasted Sale
  • Learn how to complete an appointment and schedule a follow-up activity
  • You will be introduced to GoldMine Filters and Filter Expressions
  • Learn how to generate correspondence to you contacts – letter, email
  • Lean to create email templates to personalize outgoing email messages
  • Learn how to use the Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Link
  • Learn Literature Fulfillment and how to maintain a literature list
  • You will be introduced to GoldMine Reports, how to sort and print them
  • Learn how to analyze leads and print reports for lead analysis
  • Learn how to use Project Management within GoldMine
  • You review the use of the Relationship Manager
  • Review how to process, track Customer Service Requests within GoldMine
